At the French national championships for young dressage horses Don Juan de Hus set a new record score. His breathtaking performance with Jessica Michel was rewarded with an unprecedented 95,2% in the qualifying round. The championship ribbon was awarded after a final score of 93,639%. Former KWPN inspector and international breeding judge Jacques Verkerk remarked that he had not seen any four year old performing like Don Juan de Hus, including the participants of the Dutch Pavo Cup.
