At the Dutch national riding school in Deurne, Durango VDL was one of the highlights in the 1,10 m class. The son of Zirocco Blue VDL made a huge impression on the crowd and the judges Roelof Bril and Henk van den Broek. Exploding off the ground and showing superb technique, Durango VDL was awarded with 49 points, which equalled the result of co-winner Starpower.

Durango's sire Zirocco Blue VDL is on his way to the Grand Prix, giving his rider Jur Vrieling 'an incredible feeling', as Vrieling describes it.
