The HBC Stal auction was a great success. The mare stock, very strictly selected throughout the years, found new owners from all over the world. Buyers from Kuwait, Iraq, Poland and Germany invested in precious brood mares bred according to the HBC formula.

Some mares will remain in The Netherlands. Eye Catcher (s. Nabab de Reve) for instance was bought by the top horse dealer Egbert Schep. René van ‘t Klooster is the new owner of Chup A Chup (s. Tolan), bred from the dam line of VION-winner Boemerrang.

The total turnover, realised by the sale of 39 mares, was 368.800 euro’s.
