Team Nijhof is very proud that two of their kwpn approved stallions Johnson and Verdi both acheived a medal at the World Equestrian Games in Caen. First Hans Peter Minderhoud and the unexperienced Johnson achieved a bronze team medal in dressage, by being the second best combination for Holland. And only a few days later Maikel van der Vleuten and Verdi jumped to the Team Gold Medal for the Netherlands. Both stallions belong to the top of the world by finishing in the top 15 of this prestigious event.
The stallions Johnson and Verdi both came to Team Nijhof at the age of 4 months old in 2002. They grew up together and came to the kwpn stallion approvals together in 2005. Since 2006 both horses have been succesfully educated by Hans Peter Minderhoud and Maikel van der Vleuten respectively. Both stallions also participated in the top 10 at the worldcup finals in Lyon this spring. We would like to congratulate their breeders, grooms, co-owners, family members, dutch federation and kwpn and others involved in these fantastic results.
