With the win in the Grand Prix Freestyle and the second place in the Grand Prix at the CDI3* in Rotterdam, Zack-son Glock’s Zonik impressed once again. In his second international competition Glock’s Zonik scored 75,44 percent in the Grand Prix. Rider Edward Gal said: “Zonik was a little tired, because he was very busy in the stable the first night at the show.”
Glock’s Zonik and Edward Gal won the Grand Prix Freestyle, their first ever, with a score of 77.45% although the music and the test were composed for Glock’s Undercover. “I had to improvise during the test. Zonik was fresher than in the Grand Prix. Because of the umbrellas at the stands he was a little spooky. Normally he doesn’t pay attention to what happens around the arena. This was a good learning experience.”
The 9-year old Zonik is bred following the Blue Hors-philosophy. His sire Zack is combined with the mare Romanik, a daughter of Blue Hors Romanov out of Dunja (by Blue Hors Don Schufro). Three generations of Grand Prix-sires.
Blue Hors Zack and Daniel Bachmann Andersen will compete at the Danish Championships in the Grand Prix next weekend.
