Successful offspring up and down the country: A summary
The time of mare shows and state championships is coming to an end and we would like to take the opportunity to summarize the great successes of our breeders. We are very happy that offspring of our stallions could shine in all big breeding areas. The balance results in 3x the title Champion Mare and 5x the title State Champion. What an achievement!
Mare shows:
At the Herwart-von-der-Decken-Show, Olympia was singled out as the Hanoverian Champion Mare. The highly modern and very athletic gray mare descends from Ogano x Diacontinus x Quintender from the breeder Enrico Messelis from Kefferhausen.
In the Rasteder Schlosspark, Lady Casina by Casino Berlin x Lordanos x Landor S became the celebrated Oldenburg Champion Mare. Breeder and owner is Gerd Sosath from Lemwerder.
The Oldenburg association writes: "The jumping mare received an overall score of 8.48 in her performance test. The OS champion mare descends from the famous mare line of Heida. This line already produced the licensed stallion Cador, who was successful in advanced level show jumping under Hendrik Sosath, as well as the 2014 OS champion mare Lady Cadora OLD. Lady Casina's dam Lady Lordana inspires in 1.60 m jumping competitions under the breeder's son Hendrik Sosath."
Celestina by For Dance x Lanciano also holds the title of Champion Mare this year. The elegant and sporty mare was awarded at the State Mare Show in Munich-Riem. Celestina was bred by Martin Niedermair from Aying. She is owned by Gabi Heinz from Moosburg.
Reserve Champion Mare in Baden-Württemberg was FBW Cajuga by Casino Grande at the Franz-Strahl-Schäfer mare show. Breeder of this horse is Regina Engelberth.
State Championships:
A look at the results lists of this year's state championships puts a smile on Gerd Sosath's face: "This year, many golden ribbons were won at the championships of the largest breeding associations. We are proud and grateful that the offspring of our stallions are so successful."
Among them is the Oldenburg state champion of five-year-old show jumpers Crystal Blue OLD by Casino Grande x Mr. Blue. The gray mare jumps in an ideal manner and has an impeccable attitude to the sport. She is bred and owned by Gerd Sosath and is presented by Jannes Schultewolter.
In Verden, Calida by Casino Berlin x Conteur secured the title of Hanoverian Champion Mare of five-year-old show jumpers under her rider Tobias Clar. She is bred by ZG Zwingmann und Riechwein from Dingelstädt.
The Westphalian State Champion Mare of four-year-old mares and geldings was For Joy by For Dance. Andrea Krehenwinkel is rider, breeder and owner of this great mare.
FBW Cajuga by Casino Grande x St. Moritz Junior successfully defended both her titles and became again Baden-Würtemberg Champion as well as South German Champion of the 6-year-old eventing horses. Breeder and owner is Regina Engelberth. Cajuga is ridden by Mareike Pape.
Günter Treiber won the "DSP Championships for 6-year-old show jumpers" with his mare Cadora by Cador x Lancer III. The mare was bred by the breeding partnership Sabine and Rainer Spindler.
Congratulations to all breeders, riders, owners and participants for these exceptional mares!
