Embolo by Escamillo x Detroit achieves top price at auction

Embolo, the son of Escamillo out of the State Premium mare Dressed in Black by Detroit x Christiano, cost 590,000€. The gelding was born in the stables of Andrea Krehenwinkel. She also successfully presented his famous sister and Westphalian Riding Horse Champion Mare For Joy by For Dance at this year's Bundeschampionat.

The Westphalian Horse Stud Book writes:

"I am at a loss for words" was the first sentence Christoph Hess uttered when commenting on Embolo while making the training videos of the auction candidates. The son of Escamillo (breeder and exhibitor: Andrea Krehenwinkel, Neuenkirchen) impressed every spectator with his above-average quality of movement and lightness. A horse that is made for the higher tasks of dressage sport!
