Riders receive valuable tips for winter work
At our training weekend this year, the riders could experience interesting lessons with trainer Jannes Schultewolter. Almost 50 rider-horse pairs came to Lemwerder on Saturday and Sunday and were able to warm up on the outdoor arena in bright sunshine. For training, it was then off to the indoor arena, where Jannes was able to give the riders individual tips depending on their level and age. His two favorite words: rhythm and canter! And the motto: "Always stay relaxed!" were at the top of the agenda. We received a lot of positive feedback from the participants, who felt they were in great hands. From successful show riders to the youngest rider, Jil Blendermann (10) who came with her four-year-old mare by Casiro. For both of them it was the first time in such a big hall. Mother Silke Blendermann was enthusiastic: "Centucky is my first homebred horse, she is now four years old and my ten-year-old daughter rides her. Today was the first time in the big indoor arena. We hope to have lots and lots of fun with this horse for a long time."
In the casino, spectators could make themselves comfortable with a coffee or tea and watch the talented show jumpers. Inga's homemade cake also received a lot of praise.
We were very happy to see many former sales horses again and to see the positive developments. In addition, we could see many similarities between the offspring and our stallions and some participants were happy to finally meet the sire of their horse in real life.
It was great fun and we are looking forward to the dressage training day in 2 weeks!
