She did it again - First Date OLD, bred by Hans-Hermann Lagershausen and a daughter of For Dance-Weltmeyer, once again showed her extraordinary talent. Under the European Pony Team Champion Julie Sofie Schmitz-Heinen, she secured victory in the qualification for the Bundeschampionat Final with a dream score of 9.3. Great credit also goes to the breeder family Lagershausen and the former trainer Veronika Steinhof for their important role in this success.
First Date OLD has written an impressive success story in recent years. Already in 2020, she was crowned the three-year-old Oldenburg State Champion and won the silver medal at the Bundeschampionat. In 2021, she defended her state title and received the Ic premium on the Brilliant Ring at the Oldenburg Elite Show in Rastede. The following year she placed fourth in the riding horse ring at the Bundeschampionat and finished eighth in the five-year-old class. Veronika Steinhof was her permanent rider until then.
In 2022, First Date OLD changed hands to the Schmitz-Heinen family and competed under Julie Sofie Schmitz-Heinen. In today's qualifier for six-year-olds at the Bundeschampionat, the duo confirmed their success. First Date OLD and Julie Sofie Schmitz-Heinen received top marks and secured the victory with an outstanding final score of 9.3. The judges even awarded the ideal score of 10.0 for the suppleness and rated the basic gaits with 8.5 in trot, 9.5 in walk and 9.0 in canter. The perspective again received a 9.5.
We congratulate all participants on their impressive performances and look forward to the exciting final. We can't wait to see how this talented duo will perform and keep our fingers firmly crossed.
