On Sunday, the 100th Oldenburg Elite Auction took place in Ankum. A highlight was certainly Forgio, the five-year-old gelding by For Dance - Sergio Rossi bred by Egon Wichmann, who was sold to Great Britain for € 82,000.
Two foals by Vivaldos also went under the hammer of auctioneer Thorsten Castle.
The colt Vei du mei by Vivaldos - Detroit, bred by Katrin & Ralph Petereit, Göldenitz, sold for 12,000€ while Viernes by Vivaldos - Desperado went for 11,000€. The filly was bred by ZG Holthausen GbR from Steinfeld.
The catalogue numbers 49, Verynice by Vivaldos - Ampere and 61, Foreign Affair by For Dance - Stedinger, sold for 14.000€ and 15.000€ respectively.
Breeder of Verynice is Gerd Sosath, the mare was shown by Bodo Willms from Oldenburg.
Foreign Affair is bred by Bernd & Eckart Gerdes from Emden and was shown by Matias Camacho.
